I decided to brown the butter and to bloom the spices then! Currently chilling the butter to get it to soften butter texture! Will report back!

If you haven’t made these: go. Make them now. These cookies are pumpkin bread in cookie form (meaning you get pumpkin deliciousness that much faster!)

Just tried making them and they are pretty good but light on the flavor. The chocolate chips really give it something otherwise the cinnamon and pumpkin pie seasoning is light. Highly recommend adding more cinnamon, pumpkin pie, or even vanilla extract to make them a little more potent.

PS - these don't spread and are more of a cake like texture. Play with the recipe if you want something different.

do u perhaps have any recs on making this gluten free and vegan 🤨 want to surprise a friend who loves pumpkin but ive never actually had to make ingredient swaps for due to dietary restrictions and would love to educate myself and try recipes!

I accidentally bought pumpkin pie filling, instead of pumpkin puree. Does anyone have any recommendations for how much I should reduce the sugar (since the pie filling already has sugar in it)?
